Whispers, this is one of the most outstanding releases of 2021 with simply amazing EP, which strings together riffs that turn your neck, mosh-parts that would straighten a bald man, all this with a crazy energy. And if you manage to leave the Pit alive, you might remember their set for a long time, especially beacause it will be their first time in France!
RiskTheDeath: Introduce the band in a few words.
Wispers: Whispers is Ole, Neung, Dew, S and Mike. We’re hardcore band from Bangkok (Thailand) and have been a band since 2014 also got 1 EP, 1 Demo and 1 album released.
RTD: Which band influenced you the most?
W: We are influcend by All out War, Merauder, Kickback, Arkangel… mostly 90’s hardcore metal style.
RTD: What is your favorite retro game?
W: I would say Rampage, Duck Hunt, Castlevania and Mega Man.
RTD: Why shouldn’t we miss your show at the Spread of Rage Festival?
W: For us, it’s not easy to have a chance to playing shows at overseas much especially in Europe and yeah for France too. We don’t know we will have chance like this in future or no. So let’s come to join us for our fist time there!
RTD: Do you have a concert or recording anecdote to tell us?
W: After we finished for “Narok Bon Din” album, we only had one chance to play a show and that is our “Release Show” on March 2021. After that the Covid situation getting more bad here so no have any hardcore show happened here for a while and we cant go out of country to play any show too. But thats funny, because from this day till September we are not sure too about we will have any show here before we start an UK/EU tour or no, so Maybe our second show from “Narok Bon Din” album will happened in UK/EU before we have a show here (laughs).
RTD: What is your favorite version of “HARM’S WAY Running Man”?
W: Actually all versions of Running Man are very funny. James is look so crazy in difference of versions, but the most we like are the version of Caramelldansen , Baby Shark & Sponge Bob theme song.
